Web Forms allow you to collect leads directly from your landing pages or website and have them automatically added to your Cohere CRM. You can create a form in your Business Dashboard, customize the information you want to collect, and generate code to embed it on your Cohere landing page or another website.

This guide walks you through creating a Web Form and using the generated code to embed it wherever you want to capture leads.

How to Create a Web Form

From your Business Dashboard, click Create, select Lead Magnets, and then click Web Form.

Complete the fields in the Create Web Form window to customize your form.

Form Settings

1. Form Name

Enter a name for your Web Form. This helps you identify the form in your dashboard.

2. Fields to Collect

Choose which information you want to collect from people who submit your form.

• Email: Always collected and cannot be disabled.

• First Name: Enable this option if you want to collect the participant's first name.

• Last Name: Enable this option if you want to collect the participant's last name.

• Phone: Enable this option if you want to collect the participant's phone number.

• Message: Enable this option if you want to allow participants to include a message with their submission.

Toggle the relevant fields on or off depending on the information you want to collect. Email is required for every Web Form.

3. Button Label

Customize the text displayed on your form's submission button. The default label is Subscribe, but you can replace it with wording that better suits your purpose.

4. Tags

Select an existing tag to apply to leads captured through the form. This helps you organize and identify leads in your Cohere CRM.

A tag using your form name is created automatically. You can also click Create New Tag to create a new tag.

Once you've completed the settings, click Create Form to generate your Web Form code.

How to Use the Generated Code

After creating your Web Form, a code will be generated. Copy this code and follow the instructions below, depending on where you want the form to appear.

1. On a Cohere Landing Page

To add your Web Form to a landing page built with Cohere:

1. Copy the generated code.

2. Open the AI Landing Page Builder and paste the code into the Caela chat.

3. Tell Caela where you want the form to appear on your landing page.

Caela will use your instructions to help position the form where you want it.

2. On Another Platform

You can also embed your Web Form on other platforms, including AI landing page builders, website builders, or other web pages that support embedded code.

1. Copy the generated code.

2. Open the platform or page where you want the form to appear.

3. Paste the code into the appropriate area, following the platform's instructions for adding embedded code.

The exact steps may vary depending on the platform you're using.

Where Do the Leads Go?

Leads captured through your Web Form are automatically added to your Cohere CRM, regardless of where the form is embedded.

Any tags configured for the form help you organize these leads, making it easier to identify and manage contacts in your CRM.
