How to Create a Coupon Code for Services

Why is it relevant?: Coaches may want to give their clients a discounted price by providing a coupon code for their services; hence, this feature can be used for that. 

Recommendation: For the coupon code name, we recommend that the coupon code be 1-2 words without any spaces and in all caps, as it is case sensitive. If it is a limited number of times this can be used, or if it expires, you can also include those details. 

 

This guide will walk you through the steps on how to create a coupon.

NOTE: Applicable contributions will vary on the selection screen based on currency options as well as the payment processor selected while creating a contribution on step 4. 

 

Step 1: From the Business Dashboard, click on the Payments and Payouts section on the left side of the page, and it'll redirect you to the My Sales page.

                                                                    


Step 2: Scroll down to the bottom-right corner of the page, and find the "Create New Coupon" button. Click on it to get started.



Step 4: This action will direct you to a page where you can input the details for your new coupon and choose the services to which it applies. 

Percentage: The percentage amount you offer as a discount. 
Amount: The amount in your currency that you want to offer as a discount. 
Payment Processor: Selecting the payment processor will show the services created by using the selected payment processor. 
Maximum Usage: The maximum number of times you want the coupon to be used. 

If you choose the Discount Billing Option, you can add the number of months you want to offer for free in case of a monthly subscription.



                                    


Step 5: Once you've entered all the necessary details, click on the "Save Coupon" button to ensure your changes are applied.
