Step 1: Basic Information

Cohere offers two flexible ways to host sessions for multiple clients — Group Services and Workshops.
While both are designed for group learning and collaboration, they serve different purposes based on the length and structure of your offering.

Key Difference

• Group Services: Ideal for running multi-session programs or courses over a set period of time. These services can include multiple live sessions, self-paced content, and community engagement — perfect for group coaching or training cohorts.

• Workshops: Best for one-time or single-day events focused on teaching or training. Workshops are designed for shorter, high-impact sessions that don’t require ongoing scheduling.

💡 Tip: Choose Group Service for recurring group programs and Workshop for one-time learning experiences.

How to Create a Group Service or Workshop

There are five main steps to create and publish your Group Course or Workshop on Cohere.

Step 1: Add Basic Information

1. Add a Service Title

Give your service a unique and descriptive title that reflects your offering.
This title will be displayed on your Cohere website and client pages.

2. Choose a Category

Select the most relevant category for your service from the dropdown list.
You can choose one or multiple categories that best represent your offering. The maximum number of categories you can add is 5 per service.

 

 

You can also create a Custom Tag if your preferred tag is not available by default. The steps are below: 

• Click on the Category Drop Down and scroll to the bottom. Click on Create Custom Category.

  

• A pop-up will appear, and you can add the Custom Category there and click Done.

                                           

💡 Tip: You can also add a Tagline (optional) to make your listing more engaging.

 

3. Select Service Type

Choose the type of service you want to offer:

• Click Group Course for multi-session programs.

• Click Workshop for single-day sessions.
  Your chosen option will appear highlighted in blue.

 

 

4. Select Your Preferred Language

In Step 1 of service creation, select English, German, or Spanish from the Default Landing Page Language dropdown to set the service’s preferred language.

5. Choose a Landing Page Design

Select a landing page design to showcase your service.
Click Browse to explore Cohere’s three available designs and pick the one that fits your brand style.

 

6. Attach a Banner Image/Video

Upload a banner image or a Video to make your landing page visually appealing.
Click Attach an Image/Video and select a high-quality photo or a video that best represents your service. 

 

7- Embed a Video Link

You can also embed a video link on the landing page by pasting the URL of the video below the section where you add the banner image on step 1 of creating a service

 

8. Save and Continue

Once you’ve added all your details, click Save and Next at the bottom of the screen to move on to the next step.
