How to Remove Clients from a Groups, Memberships, Workshops or Communities

Updated 9/5/2026

If a coach decides that a client should no longer have access to group content, discussions, or materials, Cohere makes it easy to remove clients from a Group Service, Membership, Workshop, or Community.
This ensures your community stays organized and that only active members retain access to your sessions and resources.

⚠️ Note: Clients cannot be removed from 1:1 Services.

This guide walks you through how to remove a client from a group-based service.

How to Remove a Client

Step 1: Open Your Services

From your Coach Dashboard, click on All on the left-hand side.
From the dropdown menu, select Services.
You’ll be taken to a page showing all the services you’ve created.

Step 2: Select the Service

Scroll through your list of services and locate the one you’d like to manage.
Click on it, then open the Community tab.

Step 3: Go to the Members Section

Inside the Community tab, click on the Members section to view the list of clients enrolled in the service.

Step 4: Remove the Client

Find the client you want to remove and click the Delete (🗑️) icon next to their name.

Step 5: Confirm Removal

A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm.
Click OK to finalize the removal.

🎉 The client will be successfully removed and will no longer have access to the group’s sessions, resources, or community.
