Rich Text Formatting Inside Communities

Community posts on Cohere now support rich text formatting, giving you more control over how your content looks and reads.
You can use bold, italics, <u>underline</u>, and even paste styled text directly into your posts. 


Why Use Rich Text Formatting?

  • Make posts easier to read and scan

  • Emphasize important information

  • Create more engaging community conversations


What Formatting Is Supported?

You can now apply the following formatting options in community posts:

  • Bold text

  • Italic text

  • <u>Underlined</u> text

  • Pasted styled text (formatting is preserved)

  • URLs
  • Emojis
  • Bullet Points

How to Use Rich Text Formatting

Step 1: Create or Edit a Community Post

Go to your Community and start a new post or edit an existing one.

 

Step 2: Apply Formatting

Use the formatting toolbar in the text editor to:

  • Bold, italicize, or underline text

  • Use emojis, add URLs or bullet points

You can also paste text from another document and keep its formatting.



 

Step 3: Publish Your Post

Once you’re done formatting, publish your post to share it with the community.

✅ Your post will now display with the selected formatting.
