Before joining a live Cohere Video session, it’s important to test your microphone, camera, and audio setup.
Doing a quick check helps ensure everything works smoothly — so you can focus on your session without any tech hiccups.
This guide will walk you through how to test and adjust your mic, camera, and audio settings before your Cohere Video session.
Before You Begin
Please make sure your web browser has permission to access your camera and microphone.

How to Test Your Mic, Camera & Audio
Step 1: Start from Your Coach Dashboard
From your Coach Dashboard, click Start on your upcoming session.

Step 2: Preview Your Setup
A pop-up window will appear where you can preview your microphone, camera, and audio output.
You can see your video feed and confirm your voice is being detected.

Step 3: Adjust Device Settings
Use the controls in the preview window to:

Allow browser access to your mic and camera

Switch between available microphones or cameras

Adjust settings to ensure your preferred devices are active
Step 4: Launch the Session
Once you’ve selected your preferred mic and camera, click Launch Session.
