Sharing Files and Resources with Clients and Creators

Sharing files and resources with your clients or fellow creators helps everyone collaborate more effectively on Cohere.
It makes it easy to share important materials, keep everyone on the same page, and strengthen communication within your programs and communities.

This guide walks you through how to share files and resources in Cohere — whether from your Community section or directly from your Resources tab.

Method 1: Sharing from the Community Section

Step 1: Open Your Service

Go to the service where you want to share your files or resources.

Step 2: Access the Community Section

Click on the Community tab within your service.
This is where you can find and manage shared files, discussions, and resources.

 

Step 3: Share a File

On the right side of the Community page, click the Resources tab.
Find the file you want to share, then click the Share icon next to it.
This will copy a shareable link that you can send to clients or other creators.

💡 Tip: You can share this link via chat, email, or any communication channel you prefer.

Method 2: Sharing from the Resources Section

Step 1: Go to the Resources Tab

Navigate directly to your Resources section from your service dashboard.
Here, you’ll see a list of all uploaded files and materials.

Step 2: Locate the File

Find the file you’d like to share and click the three dots (...) next to it.

Step 3: Copy the Share Link

Click Share from the dropdown menu.
This will automatically copy a share link that you can send to your clients or collaborators.

 

🎉 That’s it! You’ve successfully shared your file or resource. Recipients can now access it directly through the link.
